Signs Your Vehicle Needs This Service

  • Battery dying overnight or requiring frequent jump starts: a healthy battery keeps going dead almost always indicates a parasitic draw or a charging system that is no longer keeping the battery fully charged
  • Dashboard warning lights that return after being cleared: an ABS light, airbag light, or check engine light that reappears means the underlying fault was never repaired
  • Dim, flickering, or completely failed exterior or interior lights that are not caused by a burnt-out bulb
  • Power windows, door locks, heated seats, or other accessories working intermittently or failing entirely
  • Alternator or battery warning light appearing on the dashboard while driving
  • Burning smell from the wiring, visible discoloration on connectors, or fuses that blow immediately after being replaced

Electrical System Diagnostics & Repair

Comprehensive Electrical Diagnosis

Comprehensive Electrical Diagnosis

Electrical faults can originate anywhere in a vehicle's wiring network. Our technicians use professional-grade scan tools to read fault codes across all vehicle modules, combined with wiring diagrams, multimeters, and oscilloscopes to test circuits, verify signal integrity, and trace problems to their actual source.

Battery Testing & Replacement

Battery Testing & Replacement

A battery that seems weak should be properly tested before anything is replaced. We perform a conductance test and load test to accurately assess battery health, inspect terminals and cables for corrosion and resistance, and replace batteries with quality units that meet your vehicle's cold cranking amp and reserve capacity specifications.

Alternator & Charging System Repair

Alternator & Charging System Repair

The alternator keeps your battery charged and powers all electrical systems while the engine is running. A failing alternator causes battery drain, dim lights, warning lights, and eventually a no-start condition. We test alternator output voltage and amperage under load and replace failed units with quality components.

Starter Motor Diagnosis & Replacement

Starter Motor Diagnosis & Replacement

A starter that clicks, grinds, or fails to crank the engine can indicate a faulty starter motor, a weak battery, a bad relay, or a wiring fault. We diagnose systematically to confirm what is actually failing before recommending parts, then replace starters and related components as confirmed by testing.

Parasitic Draw Testing & Repair

Parasitic Draw Testing & Repair

A parasitic draw is a current load that stays active after the ignition is off, slowly discharging the battery overnight. Finding the source requires monitoring total current draw while methodically isolating individual circuits. Once the responsible circuit is identified, we repair the underlying fault to eliminate the drain.

Wiring, Connector & Ground Repair

Wiring, Connector & Ground Repair

Damaged wiring, corroded connectors, and failed ground connections are among the most common causes of complex, hard-to-trace electrical problems. We repair or replace damaged wire sections, clean and restore corroded terminals, and address ground faults and fuse box issues to restore reliable electrical function.

How Our Technicians Approach Electrical Diagnosis

When a vehicle arrives with an electrical complaint, we start by gathering a thorough description of the symptoms: when they occur, how long the problem has been present, and what conditions seem to trigger it. An intermittent fault that only appears when the vehicle is cold tells us something very different from one that appears only after an hour of driving.

We connect our professional-grade scan tool and pull fault codes from every module in the vehicle: ABS, airbag, body control, and all accessible systems, not just the engine computer. We record every active and stored code along with associated freeze frame data that captures the operating conditions when each fault was detected.

With a complete code picture, we develop a test plan based on the specific codes and customer symptoms. For battery and charging complaints, we perform voltage drop testing at the battery, alternator output testing under load, and circuit resistance testing at key points. For parasitic draw complaints, we connect a clamp ammeter to monitor current draw while systematically pulling fuses to isolate the responsible circuit. For wiring faults, we use the vehicle’s wiring diagram to map the affected circuit and test continuity, resistance, and signal quality at each point.

Once the root cause is confirmed, we present our findings with a clear explanation of what failed, why, and what the repair involves before any work begins.
