Under the Hood Inspection
We visually inspect your serpentine belt, accessory belts, radiator hoses, heater hoses, and vacuum lines for cracking, fraying, bulges, and loose clamps. We also check battery terminals for corrosion and inspect visible wiring for chafing or damage.
Fluid Level & Condition Check
We check your engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid. We verify proper levels and assess condition by color, clarity, and smell to identify fluids that are due for service.
Tire Pressure & Tread Check
We check the pressure on all four tires and your spare using a calibrated gauge, then inflate to the manufacturer specification listed on your door jamb sticker. We measure tread depth and look for uneven wear patterns, sidewall damage, or bulges.
Brake Visual Inspection
We measure brake pad thickness and inspect rotors for scoring, grooves, or warping. We check brake lines for rust, corrosion, or leaks and look for caliper leaks or sticking. If your brakes are getting thin, we let you know before they become a safety concern.
Lights & Electrical Check
We test your headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, license plate lights, hazard lights, and horn. Burnt out lights are a safety issue and a common reason for getting pulled over.
Suspension & Exhaust Check
We look for oil leaks on your shocks and struts, check springs for cracks or sagging, and visually inspect ball joints, tie rods, and CV boots. We also check your exhaust pipes, muffler, and catalytic converter for rust, holes, and loose hangers.
