How Our Technicians Approach Exhaust Pipe and Flange Repair
When an exhaust pipe fault is suspected, we raise the vehicle and walk the entire pipe from the manifold connection to the tailpipe. We identify every section that shows rust-through, holes, flange leakage, or hanger failure and present all findings together rather than addressing only the obvious problem.
For pipe replacement, we cut out the failed section and install a replacement using proper butt joints, reducers, or flange connections as appropriate for the specific pipe section. We use high-temperature sealant at joints where additional leak protection is appropriate and confirm no exhaust contact with the body or floor before lowering the vehicle.
We start the engine and listen carefully at every repaired joint and new connection for any residual exhaust noise before confirming the repair is complete.
