What to Expect: Typical Service Times
- Brake fluid moisture testing: 10 to 15 minutes
- Complete brake fluid flush with four-corner bleeding: 30 to 60 minutes
How Our Technicians Approach a Brake Fluid Flush
When a brake fluid flush is scheduled, we begin by testing the current fluid’s moisture content and document the result. We then connect a pressure bleeder to the master cylinder reservoir and begin flushing fresh fluid through the system, starting at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder and working toward the closest.
At each wheel, we open the bleeder screw and observe the fluid flowing through a clear tube until the fluid running out is visibly clean and consistent with fresh fluid before closing the bleeder. We check pedal feel after completing all four wheels and perform additional bleeding if needed.
We top off the master cylinder reservoir with fresh fluid of the correct specification, confirm firm pedal feel, and inspect for any leaks at the bleeder screws before completing the service.
